Lausanne – As the Swiss leader in building technology, Alpiq covers the entire range of disciplines and offers its customers solutions from one source. In the future, Alpiq will be working with the Swiss Hotel Association as a so-called "preferred partner". Alpiq will support the association with building technology services, and introduce sustainable innovations in the hotel industry with smart buildings.

The Swiss Hotel Association has accepted Alpiq into its circle of "preferred partners". Since 1 January 2018, Alpiq is the official building technology partner of the association with some 3,000 members. For the Swiss Hotel Association, Alpiq's know-how and expertise in modern, hotel-specific building technology, as well as energy efficiency, were the decisive factors for the choice. The preferred partners of the Swiss Hotel Association stand out through their high-quality products and services tailored to the Swiss hotel industry.

Alpiq brings a broad spectrum of customised solutions for complex tasks with high quality standards to the partnership. As the market leader in building technology and building management, Alpiq plans and realises integrated solutions for smart buildings, conventional buildings, and facilities in the areas of electronics, heating, ventilation, climate, sanitation, cooling, ICT services, security & automation, photovoltaic & solar thermal energy, as well as e-mobility. The partnership will also promote building technology developments in the area of digitalisation.

Alpiq has already realised several, challenging projects for the Swiss hotel and catering industry. These include, among others, the Hotel Waldhaus in Flims, the Restaurant Kronenhalle in Zurich, the Signinahotel in Laax, the Hotel Engel in Liestal, and Valsana Hotel & Appartements in Arosa. Alpiq offers its customers planning, implementation, and operation services from one source. With over 90 locations throughout Switzerland, the company is locally and nationally networked.
